Booking a room

En-suite rooms at Westwood Student Mews are available on 45- and 51-week contracts and studios are available on 51-week contracts from 13 September 2025. See below for a list of room options for the 2025/26 academic year, and visit the Capitol Students website for the latest room availability and pricing information.

Booking your room couldn’t be easier! You can only make a booking through the easy-to-use and secure booking system on the Capitol Students site – simply select your chosen residence and the room you want and then follow the steps.

Capitol Students ask for an advance rent payment (£100 to £300 depending on the location) to allocate you a room. For properties in England, this will be deducted from the first instalment or payment, which is due before the tenancy start date. For properties in Scotland, this will deducted from the first instalment or payment due on the tenancy start date. If, having secured a room, you need to cancel your booking, the Capitol Students site has details of the cancellation policy for residents in England and Scotland.

Once you’ve paid your advance rent, you will be allocated a room and receive an email with instructions on how to complete the booking process. (Please note, there is a ten-day deadline to accept your room offer and sign your licence agreement electronically.)
